Monday, July 24 -- Instagram
Instagram, a photo- and video-sharing app, has more than 400 million active users log in … every day. In this hands-on introduction to Instagram, you'll learn:
> how to set up your account and choose from the different types of posts available;
> how to understand common terms and acronyms, so you can maximize your Instagram presence; and
> how public figures, media organizations, and political organizations use Instagram.
Tuesday, July 25 -- Snapchat
Snapchat, a photo- and video-sharing app, is more than an app for young people; it wants to be the media company of the future.
The app is working with media companies like ABC, ESPN, Food Network, and HGTV for original content. Plus, Senate GOP campaigns said they were "all in" on Snapchat during the 2016 election.
Learn the must-haves to understand Snapchat, including:
> how to get up and running with Snapchat, which can have a counterintuitive interface;
> low-cost Snapchat add-ons (custom filters and ads) that can empower your activism efforts; and

> lessons learned from how campaigns, media companies, and conservative organizations are using Facebook Live.
